We use a special ultrasonic toothbrush which is gentle, motionless and does not involve brushing or any abrasive action!
The ultrasonic toothbrush generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute. These ultrasound waves are then transferred, via the bristles of the toothbrush head, onto a specially formulated toothpaste.
At this point, micro bubbles are generated which react with the air vibrations and implode. These implosions effectively eliminate and remove food particles, plaque and bacteria from within your pets mouth.
Dental Care Gel
As part of our dental service, we also use a special Gel (Orozyme) alongside the ultrasonic toothbrush. This is the ideal solution for effective oral hygiene.
The gel helps to maintain the natural balance of microorganisms in the mouth and the enzyme complex infiltrates plaques destroying the basis for bacterial growth. The Gel also contains a surfactant that ensures sufficient contact of Orozyme with teeth and gums.
The effectiveness of this treatment depends on the degree of salivation.
